Here is what happened at our June 26th gathering.
Our June gathering was well attended this Saturday. There were 20 of us, Charlie & Ann B., Bill H., Chris & Patti J., Don H., Harry R., Joe L., Kevin A., Todd
& Meredith M, Mike B., Ray C. Visiting were Jeff D., JD & Carol M. of WA-V; Ray A., Norm W. and Ron & Dianna H. of WA-I .
JD M. of WA-V was the lucky 50/50 winner this month.
Our wait staff did a great job as usual and the breakfast was delicious.
The weather was outstanding today. Harry had a nice 75 mile ride planned for us. Nine riders and one co-rider on eight two wheelrs and one three wheeler were led
through Auburn, Lake Tapps, Bonney Lake, Wilkeson, Carbonado, past the Carbon River Ranger station to the end of the Carbon River Road where it has been washed
out by the river. The ride culminated at the Puyallup Dairy Queen on 154th and Meredian. Ice cream was free to the ride participants courtesy of Mike B.
In an effort to keep most of the chapter up to date on the happenings of the past month and upcoming events, there were a few topics of discussion.
Harry reminded us that Wing Ding 43 was coming up on June 28th through July 2nd in Shreveport,
He also mentioned the WA-V gathering coming up on July 3rd and told us of the after meeting ride to Packwood for the Annual Chicken Barbeque.
Also there was brief mention of the Montana District Rally July 21st through the 23rd. Concurrently there is the NWC Rally "Wings in the Cariboo Revisited"
July 21st through the 24th. The flyers for these events are on the Chapter WA-A website.
Last but not least he reminded us all of the upcoming 5 Aces Ride on July 30th.
Drawings from the 50/50 bucket produced several winners of assorted door prizes and as you saw above congratulations go to JD Miller of WA-V who was the big money
winner of the day.
We hope to see everyone at the next gathering, Saturday, July 23rd. Restaurant doors open at 8:00 am. Breakfast 8:00 am, gathering after breakfast.
